Bridge of Hope is a Non-Governmental organization, established in 2001 by a generous couple Mr. & Mrs Augstburger from Switzerland. Since BoH commenced its’ child focused development activities, it has brought several substantial giant leaps in the livelihoods of poor people in Gondar city administration and nearby communities.
In 2009, BOH re–registered by FDRE Charity and Societies Agency as a foreign international NGO based on the NGO registration proclamation No.62/2009 and licensed to operate under No. 1161. Nearly eighteen years have passed since its setting up. In those years, BOH has been investing both on the software & hardware of disadvantaged orphans and vulnerable children, their respective families and community members to improve their livelihoods in North Gondar zone.

Although it wasn’t the plan of Bridge of hope to open its doors for additional orphans and highly vulnerable children in the year 2017, we had been moved by the story of those destitute children who had been critically in need of rescuing their lives.
