Community Based Intervention Program
It is an intervention Program through Community OVC Sponsorship support, OVC family IGA support, Haddis Ministry beneficiary are 53 children which are from the community poor children sponsorship project under ‘’fafa’’ breakfast feeding program. Urban Agriculture Development, HIV prevention care and support, tree planting and clean water supply project. Bridge of Hope had been able to achieve its goals of this intervention and addressed thousands of beneficiaries. Moreover, the five-year strategic plan that had just been signed with the responsible government offices yet expanded its goals to increase the number of its beneficiaries to be addressed by the year 2022.
And also our program under Community Based Intervention Program are:
- Enable youth and care givers owned saving and asset accumulation culture by providing them a startup capital, essential skills and by designing economic empowerment working philosophy and framework.
- Provision of clean water for the community by drilling deep and shallow wells as well as by developing spring water
- Provision of continuous support to those re-integrated children up until they get employed or become enable to generate their own income.
- The global effect of COVID-19 pandemic which is affecting every corner and every community of the world has also affected by far the life of those extremely poor people like Haddis beneficiaries. These beneficiaries are extremely affected by the outbreak of corona virus in all and every dimension of life
- Haddis Ministry of USA, BoH able to give a timely response for the challenge and 53 Family heads and children has been provided COVID-9 prevention awareness on July 30, 2020 and we provide the sanitary materials and food support for 53 family heads who are the families of sponsored children.
